MUZAFFARABAD, Oct 9 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said that if need be, Pakistan will continue to struggle for independence of Kashmir for one thousand years. “People of Pakistan have never hesitated in giving Kashmiris moral, political and diplomatic support… we can never leave alone our Kashmiri brethren at any stage,” he said addressing a dinner reception hosted by AJK President Raja Zulqarnain Haider.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan Peoples Party’s founder started his political career by raising his voice in support of Kashmiris.

He said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto continued to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren and raised the issue on every world forum.

Prime Minister Gilani said that the relationship between Kashmir and Pakistan is not only geographical but it is also based on political, cultural, religious and ideological bonds.

He said India should come on to negotiating table as without resolving the Kashmir issue, there can be no peace in the region.

“Held Kashmir will see the dawn of independence. Those not giving Kashmiris their right to self determination should remember that a perpetrator is bound to fail while the oppressed will always be victorious,” the Prime Minister stated.
