Srinagar:Complete shutdown was observed in Kashmir on Tuesday against the killing of a youth by government forces at Palhalan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district a day back. The killings set-off violent anti-India protests prompting authorities to impose curfew like restrictions in parts of Srinagar, Sopore and Palhallan.

Thousands attend funeral of youth in Kashmir
Srinagar: Thousands of people participated, today, in the funeral prayers of a youth, who was martyred by Indian troops in Palhalan, town of north Kashmir yesterday. The participants of the funeral raised high-pitched slogans like “Go India, go back” and “We want freedom”.
