Muzaffarabad May, 5 (PR): Jammu & Kashmir People’s Freedom League led rally today condemned India for trying to play down the Khathua rape and murder case to save the culprits. The demonstrators with play cards and banners and black flags in their hands raised high pitched slogans for freedom and withdrawal of Indian troops from Jammu and Kashmir demanded implementation of UN resolutions as a guarantee for durable peace in South Asia. Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman J&K People’s Freedom League led and addressed the rally at the Burhan Shaheed Chowk.
He urged UN Secretary General to facilitate resolution of Kashmir according to UN resolutions and compelling India to bring to book culprits of the Kathua rape and murder case. He said kashmiris fearless struggle created a decisive phase for its solution that should be used by Pakistan to activate world foras for a lasting solution. Others who addressed the rally including PTI leader Khaja Farooq Ahmad leader, Uzair Ahmad Gazali of Pasban-i-Hurriyat, Muhajir leader Chaudhry Waseem, students and Muhammad Rafi Nadeem. Girl students joined here with their play-cards and black flags to demand justice for Asifa Shaheedah and showed solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.
