At the end of the meeting a resolution was passed to urge on the world community to prevail upon India to stop all human rights abuses in the occupied region, repeal draconian laws, release political detenus and callback Indian troops from the state to create a conducive environment for dialogue on Kashmir. The resolution noted that the right of self determination was the key of Kashmir resolution process, without which any dialogue on Kashmir would not gain credibility among the people of Kashmir. It said that the Hurriyat Conference was not interested in meaningless talks. The APHC Shura condemned continued detention of Muhammad Ashraf Sehrayee and other leaders and said that political talks and detention of APHC leaders could not run together and a conducive environment could remain faraway. The members and representative of Hurriyat Conference said that if India was sincere then the government of India must initiate extra-ordinary steps of peace and good will on ground in the occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir. However the people of the state believed that India was not in any mood to give up its aggressive way in dealing with the people of Kashmir. APHC meeting paid a glorious tribute to the valiant people of Kashmir for their sacrifices for the freedom of Kashmir. It made clear that the All Parties Hurriyat Conference would remain steadfast like a rock on the principle of right of self determination. (PR)
