Raid on JKPFL Office in Srinaagar condemned
Islamabad, April 12: The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has denounced in strong terms the implicating of five innocent Kashmiris including Hurriyet leader, Farida Behenji by a New Delhi court in a false case against them.
Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Indian judicial system was biased and Kashmiri people were being targeted in India as they had been demanding their inalienable right to self-determination. He pointed out that hundreds of Kashmiris had been sentenced by Indian courts in false cases in the past.
Farooq Rehmani also condemned the Indian police raids, vandalising of the JKPFL office and harassment of the party activists in Srinagar. He said that such tactics demonstrated the frustration of the occupation authorities adding that the ongoing liberation movement would be taken to its logical end, come what may.
