Srinagar, September 29 : In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL) has expressed serious concern over the continued illegal detention of the party leader, Muhammad Altaf Khan.
The party meeting, held in Srinagar with Muhammad Rafique Ganai in chair, said that Muhammad Altaf Khan had been suffering from kidneys problems and his health was deteriorating with each passing day in jail. They demanded his immediate release.
The participants of the meeting deplored that the jail authorities were not providing medical and other fundamental facilities to the political detainees in prisons due to which they were suffering from several diseases.
The meeting also discussed the latest situation in the occupied territory and vowed to continue liberation struggle till its logical conclusion.(KMS)
