Srinagar, September 01: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL) has paid rich tributes to ten youth martyred by Indian troops during the last two days in Ganderbal and Kupwara areas.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the JKPFL in a meeting chaired by its General Secretary, Ghulam Ahmad Parray, in Srinagar thoroughly discussed the prevailing situation of the territory.
Ghulam Ahmad Parray, speaking on the occasion, strongly condemned the reign of terror unleashed by the members of so-called Village Defence Committees (VDCs) in Jammu region particularly in Kishtwar. He said that a special delegation of the party would visit Kishtwar to express solidarity with the people.
The participants of the meeting offered fateha for the departed souls of the fathers of two senior party members, Manzoor Ahmad Hajam of Hajjan and Bashir Ahmad Laway of Qamarwari.
Chief Organiser, Muhammad Altaf Khan, Imtiaz Ahmad Shah, Arshad Aziz and other party leaders and activists participated in the meeting.
