Srinagar, September 12: In occupied Kashmir, the chief organiser of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Altaf Khan denouncing the latest surge in killings has said that the territory has been virtually converted into a military camp.
Muhammad Altaf Khan in a statement issued in Srinagar, citing the murder of another Kashmiri youth by Indian troops in Shopian and a JKPL leader, Ghazi Abdul Rashid by Indian police in Baramulla, said the aim of massacring Kashmiris was to weaken liberation movement.
However, he added that the sinister designs of India and its puppet administration were doomed to failure.
He urged the international human rights organisations to take notice of Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory and put pressure on India to stop atrocities on the people of Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the leaders of APHC and the forum patronised by the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chapter, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar and Ghulam Muhammad Safi in their separate statements in Islamabad expressed serious concern over the recent Shopian killings.
The Democratic Political Movement Chairman, Firdous Ahmad Shah denouncing the latest killing in Shopian and Baramulla said that excesses of Indian forces deployed in Kashmir had surpassed all limits.
The Ameer of Muttahida Jihad Council, Syed Salahuddin in his statement condemning the killing of another Kashmiri youth by India, criticised the Indian government and its puppet regime in the territory for killing innocent youth.
