Srinagar, Sept 30: In Indian-administrated Kashmir, the legislative Assembly, today, witnessed slogans shouting by members of the National Panthers Party (NPP) when speaker Mubarak Gul took up the obituary reference on the first day of the seven-day-long brief session.
The members demanded dismissal of the National Conference and Congress coalition regime, saying it had failed on all fronts.
Some ministers of the National Conference moved a breach of privilege motion in the assembly against former Indian Army chief V.K. Singh.
Assembly Speaker Mubarak Gul confirmed that his office had received the privilege motion against V.K. Singh, and the order would be passed shortly.
