MUZAFFARABAD, July 31: A big awareness rally under Hurriyat constituent, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Freedom League was held in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, against the wave of killings, use of pellet and curfew in held Kashmir today, on Sunday.
Activists of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League led by its Chairman, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani including Kashmiri migrants, civil society members, political, religious and social activists participated in the rally. AJK president Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khanand PMLN leader Zahid Amin also Participated in the Kashmir awareness rally.
Participants of the protest rally were holding anti-India and pro-freedom placards and banners depicting pellets victims and were raising high pitched anti-Indian slogans while marching main city of Muzaffarabad to Press Club where several leaders addressed the rally.The rally condemned the atrocities of Indian armed forces on the Kashmiri people and demanded immediate end to atrocities and lifting of curfew.
Chairman JKPFL, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani while addressing the rally demanded immediate intervention of United Nations and withdrawal of Indian troops from Jammu and Kashmir to facilitate the plebiscite in the disputed territory.
He further said that people of Kashmir are facing immense problems in the valley due to curfew and communication blockade. He said world should pressure to stop pellets on peaceful protesters in Kashmir. In a conspiracy Indian forces are using pellets to blind the youth of Kashmir forever, its beyond imagine atrocities committed by troops of India because Indian troops are not treating Kashmiri people as humans they firing animal weapons (Pellets) on them. He said world should stop silence on Kashmir and feel the pain of Kashmiri oppressed people who are bravely facing the continuous repression of India.
