Srinagar:Indian troops in their anti-rebel operation have killed four rebel fighters in Rajouri district, today.
Rebels were killed in a gunfight with the troops at Ravarian Talla village, in Sunderbani of the district, police said.
Giving details of the operation SSP Rajouri told media that the rebels were died in the gunfight with troops.
In the meantime, three youth were injured after clashes erupted during a search operation by Indian forces in Pulwama district, tonight.
Reports said that youth took to streets and pelted stones on the forces during a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Palpora village of the district.
Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed state between India and Pakistan. The two neighbors fought four wars on the Kashmir disputed. Since 1989, an armed struggle broke out in Kashmir against Indian rule. There are almost daily protests, violence and troops operations in the territory.
